A new WOOLWORTHS SUPERMARKET, SPECIALITY RETAIL AND SERVICES PROPOSED FOR MENANGLE PARK

Woolworths is planning a new neighbourhood shopping centre for the growing Menangle Park community to complement the future Town Centre.

We thank the community for their feedback which has informed our planning, with a Development Application lodged with Campbelltown City Council in May 2026.

Project Highlights

LOCATION

Woolworths is proposing a new full line supermarket, specialty retail and other services, which is part of the planned Menangle Park Town Centre.

The site map shows the Woolworths site within the future Town Centre.

Through our early consultation we heard from 140 people who expressed what they would like to see across the site in addition to a new Woolworths supermarket.

A range of retail, services and community uses are reflected in our plans, in addition to adequate car parking.

A CENTRE SHAPED BY YOU

We are seeking approval to deliver a retail destination that supports and serves the local community, while boosting local employment.

CONVENIENCE AND LOCAL JOBS

The supermarket will create new ongoing, local jobs, providing opportunities for the community to work locally.

A full line supermarket and supporting retail will create a convenient destination within the Menangle Park community.

WHAT YOU SAID, WHAT WE HEARD

During the early planning phase, we actively sought input from the local community and received many valuable suggestions.

The key themes that emerged from our consultation included:

  • Strong support for local, convenient retail and services

  • Ensuring sufficient parking and accessibility

  • Importance of creating a ‘one-stop shop’ destination for local shoppers

  • Providing work opportunities for locals.

OUR DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION

Following early consultation, in May 2026 we lodged a Development Application with Campbelltown City Council, the local planning authority.
